D.M. CUNNINGHAM (Writer/Director/Producer)
D.M. Cunningham is an award winning writer, director, producer in film and television. He’s the owner of a Halloween mask company called Horror Hoods, a published children's book author and former columnist for Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine. One-half of synthwave band Dreaming In Neon and a member of the Producers Guild of America.
D.M. formed Night Prowler Video in 2015 with his wife and producing partner Tara to produce genre films with visual flair and style. From that point it has been blood and neon soaked movies straight from the heart.
His latest film The Spore will be released later this year through Grindstone / Lionsgate. Some of his film and television credits include: The Predator (2018), The Tick TV series (Amazon),Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Starship Troopers, Batman: Unmasked, Ancient Aliens, Julia X, cult Troma movie Decampitated, Godfather: Legacy and so many more. He has sold feature projects to Disney, pilots to Cartoon Network and was a staff writer for one of MTV's first dramatic series called Live Through This.
His short films There’s One Inside the House, V, Unholy Blood, The Guests and Halloween fan film He Waits have been making the festival rounds since 2018 and have been chosen as Official Selections for Shriekfest, Women in Horror Film Fest, Thriller Chiller, Sin City Horror Fest, Flint Horror FilmFest, Dead of Night Film Festival and Nightmares Film Festival. His short film V was an Official Selection for the Legendary Digital/Alpha series Short Ends with host Andre Gower and Ryan Lambert (of Monster Squad fame).
TARA CUNNINGHAM (Executive Producer)
Tara started her career as a receptionist at America's Funniest Home Videos where she quickly moved up the ranks into segment producing before moving on to Prometheus Entertainment. While at Prometheus she was an Associate Producer and then Co-Producer on several series and specials for Animal Planet and History Channel. She eventually became the VP of Operations at Prometheus while starting Night Prowler Video in 2015 with her husband and producing partner D.M.
Her latest film The Spore will be released later this year through Grindstone / Lionsgate.
